Hungarian Military Hat Worn & Signed By Michael (1994)

Description:

A Hungarian peaked military cap with blue band and white, red and green insignia.  Inscribed on top of crown "Thanks For Your Support All My Love, Michael Jackson 1994."  The hat was given to MJ by a member of his Budapest guard while filming the HIStory teaser in 1994. He was seen wearing the hat around the city.  While in Budapest MJ stayed at the Hotel Kempinski, where he would wave to the crowd from his hotel room.  Before leaving he threw this hat into the crowd.  Interior tag reads "M/Meret/59."

Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #607) for $8,960.00 at their 2010 Icons & Idols auction.  All screen captures are the property of their respective owners.
