Description: Red leather jacket with black leather detailing and battery-powered illumination panels throughout, worn by Michael Jackson during the performance of "Thriller" on the 1987 leg of the BAD Tour in Asia. The interior lining is zipped into place, giving access to the extensive wiring system on the interior of the jacket. Designed by Bill Whitten. Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #695) for $180,000 at their 2012 "The Collection of Tompkins and Bush: Michael Jackson" auction.
