Michael/Jackson Five Stage Worn Scarf & Handwritten Letter (Early 1970's)

Description:

Blue scarf with dark blue glitter that reads, "We will always love you, "J5", Scarf by Ruthie West." This scarf was worn on stage by Michael during one of the early J5 tours and was gifted to a fan. Includes a handwritten, signed letter from Michael written to "Betty."  The letter, written on Pan Am stationary, thanks Betty for her correspondence and provides his address where she can continue to write to him.  Scarf is 18"x18" (open).  Letter is 8 1/2"x12".

Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #287) for $6,400 at their 2009 Music Icons auction.  All screen captures are the property of their respective owners.
