Description: One of two identical black wool jackets with a plastic belt in the style of an ammunition belt and individually sewn, overlapping plates in the style of bandoliers worn by Michael Jackson during the opening of the Dangerous Tour. The jacket features gold tone metal police shields at each shoulder, a metal armband on the right arm, metal embellishment at the collar, and a faux front zipper and Velcro, quick-change, front closure. The right sleeve of the jacket is hemmed considerably shorter than the left to allow the armband to remain visible. Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #865) for $216,000 at their 2012 "The Collection of Tompkins and Bush: Michael Jackson" auction.
