The jacket features black straps with silver buckles and silver zippers, similar to the one Michael wore on the BAD video and album cover. Features a “Michael Bush, Dennis Tompkins” label and is signed on the back in silver sharpie marker “Love Michael Jackson 1998” with three 0's over an arrow design. Michael donated this jacket to Tony Martell, to benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation, and it was originally sold by Sotheby's on June 24th, 1989 as part of their "Collectors' Carrousel" auction as lot 604. Was later sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #308) for $270,000 at their 2009 Music Icons auction. All screen captures are the property of their respective owners. |
