We Are The World Signed Publishing Documents (1985)

Description:

A collection of eleven signed documents relating to the recording and publishing of the song "We Are the World," written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.  The first document is a Joint Administration Agreement dated January 1, 1985, seven pages regarding ownership of the composition, twice signed on page seven by Michael.  Other documents are signed by William "Smokey" Robinson, the Jackson brothers, Steve Perry, and Lionel Richie for Diana Ross.

Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #576) for $12,500 at their 2010 Icons & Idols auction.  All screen captures are the property of their respective owners.
