Description:

Signed handprint in cement made by Michael in Japan in 1996. This handprint was an alternative in case there were problems with the handprint made by Michael during a live ceremony at Tower Records as part of their opening ceremony. The live ceremony handprint was sufficient and is housed at Tower Records. This alternative handprint was given to a Sony employee, who gifted it to the current owner.

Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #926) for $24,320 at their 2012 "Sports Legends and Music Icons" auction. All screen captures are the property of their respective owners.
