Description: 1973 Academy Awards outfit worn by Michael Jackson for the performance of the song "Ben". Ensebmle consists of a red synthetic blend tunic with back zipper closure and large grommets, round and star studs and a black synthetic blend, tab front flared trousers featuring a row of round studs down the outside seam of each leg. Both pieces feature labels from Cotroneo Costume of Hollywood with "Mike" typed onto them. Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #583) for $51,200 at their 2012 "The Collection of Tompkins and Bush: Michael Jackson" auction.
