Description: This military jacket with "Je Maintiendrai" (Dutch "Coat Of Arms") patch on the sleeve was owned and worn by Michael offstage during his 1996 "History Tour". Michael wore this jacket to press conferences and photo ops throughout his trip to the Netherlands. From Gotta Have It: The jacket has a 2 1/2"x2 1/2" label sewn inside the jacket that has "KL, 872.2668.7570.11, HEDEX 1991, 52K" printed in black lettering. The jacket was given by Michael to a close friend whose signed letter of provenance accompanies this lot. Comes with a 3"x"5 color picture (shown here) of Michael wearing the jacket. Sold by Gotta Have It (Lot #577) for $7,260 at their 3/11/10 Rock & Roll Pop Culture Auction. All screen captures are the property of their respective owners. |
