Red Lamé Military Style Jacket (1980s)

Description:

1980s red lame mitlitary style jacket designed by Bill Whitten. The jacket has wide lapels completely covered in red bugle beads and large faceted beads at the shoulders and cuffs. It contains labels reading "Michael Jackson" and "Bill Whitten". It was part of the exhibition in Grammy Museum Los Angeles in 2009.

Part of the "Neverland Collection" ("Memorabilia From the Life and Career of Michael Jackson" catalog) auction that was to be held by Julien's Auctions April 14th-25th, 2009.  The auction was halted by court injunction and never took place.
