Description:

Black calfskin leather jacket with elaborate buckles and silver metal epaulets. The jacket contains a Western Costume Label reading in part "2158-1 Michael Jackson." 

From Julien's Auctions:

The jacket is accompanied by a signed statement by President of Western Costume Company, Eddie Marks, stating that the jacket was made to order by Western Costume for Michael Jackson by the company's head tailor Ruben Ruvalcava in early 1988. Additionally the jacket is accompanied by a letter signed by both Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush. Tompkins and Bush worked with Michael Jackson as his personal costumers for twenty five years. They state that this jacket was prepared for and worn by Michael for the "Dirty Diana" video, Michael wore this jacket during rehearsals but not in the final video released on April 14, 1988.

Sold by Julien's Auctions (Lot #463) for $18,750 at their 2010 Music Icons auction.  All screen captures are the property of their respective owners.
